Surgical Technician - Vascular Surgery - Per Diem (Day Shift)

What you will do

• Prepare procedure rooms, supplies, equipment, and supporting documentation for scheduled visits.
• Assist proceduralists and procedure-room staff with patient transfers, preparation, positioning, and draping.
• Anticipate instrumentation needs and pass instruments during surgical procedures.
• Obtain, document, and process specimens using appropriate collection procedures and equipment.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and support safe, effective patient care.
• Collaborate with specialty physicians to obtain new or specialized equipment for procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate or current student of an approved Surgical Technologist Program, or prior Surgical Technician experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• New Hampshire Surgical Technician Certification required unless holding another current New Hampshire state license.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and hear spoken communication from masked team members.

Nice to have

• Previous operating room surgical experience.
