Surgical Laser Technician

Location: Totowa, New Jersey district site; primary job location: NY/NJ Hub/COE; location city listed as Oakland, New Jersey. This is an onsite role involving operating-room presence and equipment transportation.

Salary: $23 per hour plus $10 per case. Listed pay range: $18.19–$27.82 per hour.

What you will do

• Test, clean, and sterilize surgical equipment before operating-room procedures.
• Remain present in the operating room during procedures and support physician requirements.
• Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment after procedures.
• Communicate equipment defects and maintenance needs to relevant stakeholders.
• Transport equipment and ensure it is available at the right place and time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record under company policy.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and repeatedly bend, reach, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, and crawl.
• Vaccination or proof of current vaccination status may be required based on customer or company requirements.

• Prior medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience.
