Licensed Practical Nurse

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with healthcare providers within the scope of practice.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, observe treatment reactions, and collect urine, blood, and sputum specimens.
• Perform phlebotomy and document clinical services accurately.
• Maintain medical equipment, a clean and safe care environment, and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.

Requirements

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing-accredited program, with an associate degree or equivalent education.
• Current practical or vocational nursing license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• At least three years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN in ambulatory care, occupational health, or an emergency department.
• Strong phlebotomy skills are required.
