Senior Logistics Executive (Export Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead and execute inter-company export shipments, primarily across ASEAN lanes including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
• Coordinate ocean and air freight bookings with carriers and freight forwarders to align vessel and flight schedules with production and ready-for-shipment dates.
• Oversee export documentation, customs declarations, Malaysian Customs compliance, free trade agreement certificates, and MITI reporting.
• Manage freight bidding, rate benchmarking, lane allocation, shipment loading, and logistics vendor performance.
• Monitor shipment progress, port congestion, delays, demurrage, detention, and other operational risks.
• Resolve shipment anomalies such as bill-of-lading amendments, split shipments, container shut-outs, and customs holds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of export process experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain operations, and customs requirements.
• Experience with web-based ERP systems is advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work at the Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia location.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating imports, raw materials, customs clearance, and delivery support.
• Knowledge of import declarations including K1, K8, and K9.
