Material Planner

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite, remote work is not available

What you will do

• Determine material requirements and generate purchase requisitions.
• Maintain a consistent supply of materials for production while preventing shortages and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with production planning, operations, engineering, procurement, quality, warehouses, logistics, and suppliers.
• Track production volumes, customer demand patterns, and purchasing trends.
• Schedule and oversee material and product deliveries.
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, cancellations, and performance reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
