Production Planner (Semiconductor)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite work only

What you will do

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and departmental KPIs.
• Coordinate material supply, production activities, and delivery commitments to support on-time shipment.
• Communicate with customers about delivery schedules, sample requests, and order status.
• Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling issues with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain product and process master data and support budgeting, reporting, audits, training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship or project experience in manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, or operations is relevant.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including data analysis with Pivot Tables or Power Automate.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Mandarin communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Understanding of production planning, inventory control, or logistics concepts.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
