Supplier Account Management III - B3 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Osaka, Japan, with an additional work location in Tokyo, Japan. Travel required 20% of the time; relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Develop, align, and implement commodity strategies.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements governing business relationships with the supply base.
• Coordinate supplier requirements with the PLC process.
• Direct the introduction and disengagement of suppliers.
• Resolve systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, and lead time, including sub-tier supplier involvement.
• Develop and present high-level cost reduction opportunities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline or field.
• Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend improvements to products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, or complexity.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to lead others through complex problems.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate adoption of different points of view.
• Availability to work in Osaka or Tokyo, Japan, with 20% business travel.
