Sr. Specialist Direct Commodity Management (Semiconductor Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Shape commodity strategies and execute sourcing decisions for plastic fabrication and packaging categories.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and maintain continuity of supply.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers’ technical teams to align technology roadmaps with product requirements.
• Assess supplier technology and business gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with product development teams on outsource manufacturing sourcing for new product growth.
• Own and negotiate commercial and technical supply-chain activities, including contracts with critical suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership models.
• Strong technical background in plastic fabrication and semiconductor manufacturing requirements.
• Experience developing supplier and stakeholder relationships, leading supplier projects, and driving continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated negotiation, communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Japanese is required.

Nice to have

• Professional proficiency in Korean.
