Senior Manager, HR Business Partner (Biotech/Pharma)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey headquarters; remote work most of the time with in-person collaboration and occasional domestic travel of approximately 10%.

Salary: $124,000–$161,000 annual

What you will do

• Build trusted relationships with employees and people leaders across assigned R&D functions.
• Support talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, performance management, and employee development programs.
• Implement HR policies, support change management, and help teams adapt to organizational changes.
• Partner on employee relations matters, including investigations and fair, consistent issue resolution.
• Use people data and analytics to inform HR recommendations and support organization-wide initiatives.
• Support the adoption of AI-driven HR tools and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on programs and onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; a master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 6 years of HR or related experience, including 3 or more years in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment law.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting R&D functions.
• PHR certification or active pursuit of an HR certification.
• Developing project management skills and strong attention to detail.
