Director, Human Resources Business Partner (Biopharma)

Location: Remote/Home-Based for US-based candidates only; listed locations are Palo Alto, California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Base salary: $180,800–$271,200 annually, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with senior R&D leaders to translate business priorities into people strategies.
• Advise and coach leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession, talent, and complex employee matters.
• Lead and support organizational transformation, reorganizations, M&A activity, and change-management initiatives.
• Collaborate across HR business partners, Centers of Excellence, HR Delivery, and HR Operations in a global matrix.
• Drive talent-management processes, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
• Use data, metrics, HR systems, and AI to inform decisions and improve HR team capacity.

Requirements

• Extensive HR business partner experience partnering with, coaching, and influencing senior leaders.
• Experience in performance management, rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development, and change management.
• Strong business acumen, strategic problem-solving, relationship-building, communication, and project-management skills.
• Experience working in global organizations with matrix teams and projects.
• In-depth HR knowledge of the US, UK, or EU.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related discipline; proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems, preferably Workday.

• Pharmaceutical or life sciences experience.
• Experience supporting R&D organizations.
