Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure): Designing and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for major international architecture and design projects with an accent on cloud networking, security, Infrastructure as Code, and hybrid environments. Focus on building VPC/VNet connectivity, managing Palo Alto firewalls, supporting cloud migrations, and maintaining reliable CI/CD and deployment platforms.
Location: Brisbane, Australia
Salary: AUD 160,000–180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Build VPC/VNet networking, routing, DNS, VPN, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls and cloud security controls.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
- Support cloud migration, hybrid cloud architecture, and CI/CD deployment environments.
- Monitor performance, security, and availability while troubleshooting cloud, network, and firewall issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Strong cloud networking, VPN, hybrid connectivity, firewall, and security controls experience.
- Practical Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Based in Brisbane, Australia.
