Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure): Automating cloud infrastructure, deployment environments, CI/CD pipelines, and application testing for a global retail technology platform with an accent on Terraform, Azure, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps. Focus on designing scalable cloud solutions, securing and monitoring environments, supporting performance testing, and mentoring junior DevOps engineers.
Location: Sri Lanka; UK operation hours

What you will do
- Automate the creation and deployment of development, test, pre-production, and production environments using Infrastructure as Code.
- Provision and configure cloud resources across IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions, with Azure as the preferred cloud platform.
- Manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, repositories, branching strategies, automated testing, and release processes.
- Maintain test environments, data refresh processes, anonymization scripts, monitoring tools, web servers, and package repositories.
- Apply DevSecOps principles, collaborate with development, QA, project, architecture, audit, and security teams, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Support performance and volume testing, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor junior DevOps engineers.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps and Agile practices.
- Experience with major cloud service providers, cloud migrations, and IaaS or PaaS infrastructure, with Azure preferred.
- Knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, Node.js, React, PowerShell, Bash, SQL Server, NoSQL, Windows, and Linux servers.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Helm charts, microservices, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tooling including SonarCloud, Prisma Cloud, or CrowdStrike.
- Ability to work UK operation hours and participate in on-call support rotations.
