Construction Safety Specialist (Electrical & Infrastructure)

Location: Bowling Green, Ohio; field work at variable outdoor construction job sites and office environments

Salary: $93,600–$104,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor active construction operations for compliance with OSHA and federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Apply electrical safety standards including NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI to field operations.
• Develop, execute, and maintain site-specific Project Safety Roadmaps with project leadership.
• Investigate near-misses and incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage injury and illness cases, including documentation, medical coordination, and return-to-work protocols.
• Engage with craft workers, deliver toolbox talks and safety coaching, and support CPR/First Aid training.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record; an MVR check is required.
• Ability to work outdoors at construction sites and indoors in an office, including standing, walking on uneven terrain, climbing, working at heights, navigating confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in electrical utility, substation, transmission, or commercial electrical safety is preferred; BCSP designation such as CHST, ASP, or CSP is preferred.
