Avionics Manufacturing Supervisor (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time onsite position at the Torrance, California facility

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and provide daily direction to Avionics Manufacturing Technicians.
• Organize work orders, assign production tasks, balance workloads, and monitor daily execution.
• Provide hands-on support for PCBA rework, wire harnesses, electro-mechanical assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues.
• Improve productivity, first-pass yield, repeatability, workmanship, tooling, work instructions, test equipment, and production processes.
• Ensure accurate completion of work orders, inspection records, test results, nonconformance documentation, and manufacturing records.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in avionics, electronics, electrical manufacturing, or related production.
• Experience leading technicians, assigning work, and supporting daily production execution.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, troubleshooting, or repairing avionics or electrical hardware.
• Experience with PCBA rework, wire harness manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, or electrical testing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or similar workmanship standards, plus proficiency with multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Nice to have

• Supervisory experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, automotive, or another high-reliability manufacturing environment.
• Experience building, testing, or repairing flight hardware.
• Experience managing work orders, labor assignments, production schedules, and daily output.
• Experience improving manufacturing processes, tooling, documentation, test equipment, or production metrics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution, product lifecycle management, documentation systems, GD&T, mechanical drawings, and electronic principles.
