What you will do

• Support Linux operations, maintenance, health checks, monitoring, configuration, access, file-system management, and issue resolution.
• Perform operating-system patching, software installation and updates, certificate management, and approved configuration changes.
• Use Ansible and configuration-management tools to maintain standardized configurations, scripts, and repeatable automation workflows.
• Troubleshoot Linux systems, applications, infrastructure services, and automation workflows using logs, system behavior, and performance indicators.
• Test, document, implement, and verify infrastructure changes across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, platform, and service partners while maintaining runbooks and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with no additional experience.
• Foundational knowledge or coursework in Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or other enterprise Linux distributions.
• Experience with routine Linux administration, including patching, software installation, service management, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, authentication, access controls, and system dependencies.
• Familiarity with vulnerability remediation, certificate management, least-privilege access, backups, change control, system hardening, and technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional partners in regulated, security-conscious environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Ansible Tower/AWX, Bash, Python, JavaScript, .NET, Shell scripting, Git, or public and private cloud environments.
• AWS experience and familiarity with monitoring, logging, vulnerability-management, or IT service-management tools.
• Knowledge of TLS/SSL certificates, public key infrastructure, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory, or GxP environments.
• Relevant Linux, cloud, automation, or cybersecurity certification, or interest in pursuing one.
