Software Integration Engineer 4 - Linux/Bash/Python/VMware/Ansible/Docker/GitLab (HPC)

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience

What you will do

• Test, evaluate, integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.
• Integrate and administer high-performance computing systems and software stacks.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts for automation and system support.
• Troubleshoot HPC software, hardware, and system administration issues using rigorous root-cause analysis.
• Support Slurm scheduling, shared file systems, monitoring tools, benchmarks, and high-speed interconnect technologies.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph and be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 10 years of demonstrable relevant experience; qualifying experience, certifications, or a master’s degree may substitute according to the stated criteria.
• Experience with Linux CLI and tools, Bash, Python, Slurm, HPC integration, evaluation, and system administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code principles and automation tools such as Salt and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Lustre, GPFS, Panasas, Ganglia, Nagios, GPU, FPGA, ASIC, InfiniBand, Slingshot, and HPC benchmark tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience supporting large-scale HPC systems and customers.
