Salary: $123,000–$174,600 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain Puppet manifests and modules for system configuration and compliance.
• Create and maintain standardized Ubuntu workstation imaging processes.
• Troubleshoot advanced system and application issues across Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.
• Collaborate with hardware and software developers on workstation improvements, patching, and technical support.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks using Terraform or similar tools.
• Contribute to LDAP and Active Directory integration, documentation, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Linux systems administration experience, preferably with Ubuntu or Debian-based systems, performance tuning, and automation.
• 3+ years of hands-on Puppet experience in production environments.
• Proficiency with Bash or Python scripting.
• 2 years of Git experience.
• Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export control regulations or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• LDAP or Active Directory integration experience.
• Experience with physical server hardware, cloud environments, monitoring and logging tools, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Understanding of NIST, FIPS, or CIS security compliance frameworks.
