Data Center Technician (AI)

Location: Must be based in River Bend, LA (On-site)

Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 per year + Equity

What you will do

• Install, deploy, and configure server and network hardware while maintaining accurate asset records.
• Act as a first responder for on-site incidents, prioritizing and resolving tickets to meet 24/7 SLAs.
• Diagnose and repair physical-layer network faults, including cabling and hardware replacement.
• Support escalations from lower-tier technicians and collaborate with engineering SMEs.
• Work rotating shifts or on-call to ensure continuous system reliability.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United States.
• Proven experience deploying and supporting server and network hardware in a live data center at scale.
• Deep troubleshooting skills for server hardware (POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet) and hardware (switches, routers, fiber).
• Fluency in Linux and ability to resolve tickets efficiently.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and take on-call duties.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or high-density AI infrastructure and GPU server fleets.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Experience with structured cabling.
