Salary: $131,700–$164,500 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using Node.js and AWS services.
• Build secure and compliant systems for document generation, signing, and vaulting across the loan lifecycle.
• Translate legal documents and business requirements into accurate technical solutions.
• Develop testable code, continuous deployment practices, monitoring, and troubleshooting for production systems.
• Optimize application code, APIs, and distributed systems for performance, reliability, and availability.
• Participate in design reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills.
• Extensive experience with one or more of React, Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, Serverless, SST, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, or Kafka.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with databases.
• Knowledge of large-scale web application design, including clustering, caching, performance tuning, and scalability strategies.
• Ability to understand legal documents and business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architecture, webhooks, DocuSign, Salesforce, or eOriginal integrations.
• Experience working on greenfield projects and system enhancements.
