Staff Product Manager, Platform (AI)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Employment is limited to applicants who do not require employer-sponsored work authorization in the United States.

US base salary: $169,500–$254,500 per year, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute product observability and telemetry strategy, including metrics for engagement, adoption, and feature utilization.
• Own platform financial management, customer budgets, spend forecasting, and cost optimization across multi-cloud infrastructure and AI operations.
• Lead end-user support, technical documentation, and self-service enablement for researchers, data stewards, and administrators.
• Partner with engineers, data analysts, and designers to build telemetry pipelines, cost-tracking dashboards, and integrated support tools.
• Build consensus across finance, engineering, customer success, and clinical informatics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading the definition, development, and maintenance of multi-tenant platform systems.
• Experience leading designers, engineers, and data analysts in an agile environment.
• Experience defining, instrumenting, and analyzing product telemetry.
• Hands-on experience with product analytics and business intelligence tools such as Pendo and Looker.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of GCP, AWS, NVIDIA Cloud, and Azure.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare technology, bioinformatics, or Trusted Research Environments.
• Understanding of cloud and AI/ML cost structures, including training, fine-tuning, inference, and token-based billing.
• Familiarity with billing, chargeback, and platform telemetry data architectures.
• Ability to translate financial and technical utilization data into strategic insights for executive leadership.
