Architect (Hospitality and Residential)

Location: Atlanta Office, Atlanta, Georgia, United States; this is not a remote position. Non-local candidates may relocate to Georgia.

What you will do

• Lead architectural deliverables through conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production.
• Provide creative direction and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and vendors.
• Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Lead permitting, bid review, construction administration, code review meetings, and resolution of complex site situations.
• Coordinate project schedules, fees, consultants, open items, client expectations, and team communication.
• Mentor architects and interior designers while supporting integrated design, sustainability, and resilience initiatives.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience as an architect in an architecture and design firm, managing projects in the $2M–$10M fee range.
• Experience with commercial base-building and interior architecture projects for hotels, multifamily, and residential properties.
• Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Licensed or registered architect required.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards, with experience mentoring junior team members.
