Site Lean Transformation Leader (DBS) (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Muskegon, Michigan, United States

Annual salary: $110,000–$135,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the deployment and integration of the Danaher Business System across the manufacturing site.
• Develop the kaizen funnel and lead workshops and kaizen events for plant construction, factory start-up, product lines, and product relocations.
• Apply lean tools to compress schedules, eliminate waste, improve process capability, and reduce process and product variation.
• Institutionalize lean methodology through data-based decision-making, structured problem solving, and kaizen principles.
• Develop and maintain the Certified Practitioner funnel and support candidates through certification.
• Facilitate DBS-based problem-solving sessions and follow up to sustain results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in a related manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience facilitating, coordinating, coaching, and mentoring lean workshops or kaizen events.
• Ability to lead organizational change through lean thinking and lean-based management systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, change management, financial decision-making, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Muskegon and perform physical field activities, including walking, bending, carrying materials up to 25 lbs, and using required PPE.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, batch chemical, or petrochemical environments.
• Experience as a change agent with strong credibility and influence.
• Experience deploying A3 thinking.
