Senior Manager Process Improvement (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote within the United States, preferably in the Central Region; domestic travel up to 80% and support for work locations throughout the U.S.

Salary: $105,100–$147,100 annually

Large-scale baking company operating bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes across the United States.

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement and operations excellence initiatives across regional bakeries and manufacturing environments.
• Build capabilities with regional and bakery leaders, frontline teams, and cross-functional operations groups.
• Use advanced data analysis and process studies to improve cost savings, waste reduction, productivity, line effectiveness, and profitability.
• Facilitate root cause problem solving, line balance workshops, Agile kaizen events, and manufacturing transformation projects.
• Support the adoption of digital processes and tools, including Digital Codebooks, ODI, Digital Dough Sheet, and Power BI reports.
• Deliver training, coaching, standard work, formal presentations, and change management support to operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience in manufacturing operations, quality, or food safety.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating root cause problem solving, line balance workshops, and training.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods such as SMED, 5S, Gemba Walks, 5 Whys, and DMAIC.
• Experience supporting change management, digital process adoption, and regional operations excellence initiatives.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 80% and support unanticipated work locations throughout the United States.
