TL;DR
Continuous Improvement Leader (Manufacturing): Developing and executing site-wide continuous improvement strategies to improve operational and financial performance with an accent on plant operations, supply chain, process analysis, and kaizen leadership. Focus on solving complex process and data problems, leading culture change, mentoring improvement teams, and driving measurable financial results.

Location: On-site in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, United States; up to 10% domestic travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Compensation: $164,612–$201,193 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay when eligible.

What you will do

  • Develop the site continuous improvement strategy, objectives, operating plans, and performance goals.
  • Partner with site leadership to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Analyze production, materials, warehouse, supply chain, MRP, ERP, portfolio, and information-flow problems.
  • Lead complex problem-solving and improvement projects that connect process execution and master-data issues to business results.
  • Collaborate with frontline employees, supervisors, managers, support teams, and operations leaders.
  • Teach, mentor, and develop others in continuous improvement methods while managing performance through the CI Dashboard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
  • At least five years of plant and/or operations leadership experience.
  • At least three years of experience developing and leading kaizen events.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Advanced data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Ten years of experience in plant operations, engineering, and/or maintenance.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt experience or certification.
  • Lean manufacturing experience and demonstrated continuous improvement results.
  • Experience leading culture change, coaching, and teaching.
