Lead, Trust & Safety U.S. Operations

Location: New York, United States. The default-together policy expects team members to work in an office 4+ days per week.

Salary: $130,000–$196,000 annually for Zone A, including NYC; the position is also eligible for RSUs.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of Trust & Safety Specialists.
• Improve operational workflows, enforcement guidance, and scalable automated solutions.
• Partner with Policy, Legal, Product, Engineering, Communications, and global safety teams.
• Use enforcement, product, market, and operational data to identify risks and guide decisions.
• Manage escalations and time-sensitive inquiries involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver safety roadmap projects covering execution, training, data assessment, and stakeholder presentations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership experience, including attracting, motivating, developing, and retaining talent.
• Experience reviewing sensitive content, investigating complex issues, and managing escalations.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with large datasets and data visualization tools such as Advanced Excel, Looker, or Tableau.
• Ability to work with sensitive or disturbing content, including child exploitation, graphic violence, and self-harm.

Nice to have

• 1+ years working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
• Experience in Trust & Safety, Legal, regulatory compliance, operations, implementation, or product management.
• Experience interacting with regulatory bodies, NCMEC, or law enforcement.
