National College Leadership Program Trainee

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; trainees must be able to work at hotel locations within major metropolitan markets and be flexible to relocate. Training may include in-person instruction at the corporate office in Chicago, Illinois. Placement locations may include sites across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

Salary: $55,000–$55,001 per year, with potential bonuses or incentives after placement.

What you will do

• Complete a five-month Manager in Training program with technical, operations, and sales rotations.
• Participate in hands-on learning at event venues alongside field leaders.
• Manage floor operations to deliver service excellence, lead staff, and support performance development.
• Control workforce and inventory costs while achieving operational goals.
• Guide customers through event experiences and identify solutions aligned with their objectives.
• Use available tools to support event delivery and revenue capture.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree with a BA or BS required.
• At least one year of related professional experience, or a combination of employment and internships.
• Strong interest in a management career with advancement opportunities.
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation, leadership, and customer-service skills.
• Technical aptitude and interest in new technology.
• Ability to work at hotel locations in major metropolitan markets and flexibility to relocate.

Nice to have

• Degree in hospitality, business or management, communications, event management, theater, or a related field.
• Experience in management, operations, technology, or hospitality.
