Operations Supervisor (Smart Transportation)

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and motivate employees through communication, coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and regular one-on-one meetings.
• Manage daily operations, inventory levels, staffing forecasts, and customer-specific SLA requirements.
• Track attendance and address performance, behavior, and attendance issues with Operations leadership and Human Resources.
• Build effective relationships with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors.
• Support process and organizational change initiatives across the department.
• Handle escalated customer issues and perform service recovery by phone, email, or in person.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of leadership experience; previous supervisor experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage employees, maintain professionalism, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Quality-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
