Licensed Optician - General Manager

Location: West Long Branch, New Jersey, United States; onsite retail store position

Salary: USD 62,400–89,594.98 per year

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop associates while managing schedules, recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Own store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, merchandising, promotions, and business performance.
• Monitor customer and patient experiences and partner with the Doctor to support high-quality care.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with quality, merchandising, facility, safety, and corporate standards.
• Communicate with the District Manager and provide accurate operational reporting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of store operations, sales, customer service, and business performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Optical industry knowledge is preferred.
