General Manager (Coffee & Hospitality)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; onsite store leadership role

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Lead, train, coach, mentor, and recruit the store team while building an engaged team culture.
• Create staff schedules, cover scheduling gaps, and manage timecards and paid time off in accordance with state and local labor laws.
• Maintain food, beverage, coffee, safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards across the store.
• Own ordering, vendor relationships, waste management, inventory counts, and inventory system compliance.
• Spend 50–70% of the week leading by example behind the bar through customer service and technically excellent food and beverage production.
• Drive local brand loyalty, sales growth, average order value, financial performance, and operational audit results.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store operations in high-growth hospitality or consumer brands.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing hospitality teams.
• Experience managing inventory and supply chain ordering.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, and equipment.
• Full-time availability for 45 hours per week, with availability across five days and two peak days, usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
• Strong decision-making, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.
