Store Director - American Girl Retail

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite at the American Girl flagship retail store

Salary: $120,000–$147,000 annually

What you will do

• Direct daily operations and performance across the multi-department American Girl flagship retail store.
• Develop retail strategies and initiatives to improve customer service, sales generation, revenue, and brand experience.
• Manage store operations, policies, procedures, facilities, inventory coordination, shrinkage prevention, and service efficiency.
• Lead financial planning, revenue forecasting, project budgets, timelines, and monthly P&L management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and Brand, Marketing, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Distribution, Public Relations, and Human Resources partners.
• Lead management and supervisory teams, including staffing, training, performance management, succession planning, and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of retail management experience; premium or high-end retail experience is preferred.
• Restaurant experience is desirable.
• Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must work onsite at the Los Angeles, California flagship retail location.
