Commercial Disputes and Investigations Advisory Director

Location: Remote within the contiguous United States; New York office listed. Travel to client locations as needed, typically less than 20%.

Salary: $200,000–$270,000 base salary, plus eligibility for annual incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage complex commercial litigation and disputes engagements, including timelines, work plans, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead teams conducting forensic accounting, financial analysis, investigations, and litigation support.
• Trace funds, identify anomalies, evaluate challenged transactions, and assess damages and other complex financial questions.
• Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and prepare reports, schedules, demonstratives, and client presentations.
• Support expert witness engagements through analysis, report preparation, and testimony preparation.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and mentor junior professionals.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant consulting, disputes, investigations, forensic accounting, or related professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in disputes and investigations, including litigation support, financial investigations, economic damages, and expert witness support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience leading engagement workstreams, developing execution strategies, coordinating priorities, and managing client deliverables.
• Strong database, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Must reside within the contiguous United States.

• MBA, CPA, CFE, CFF, CFA, JD, CIRA, or a similar professional credential.
