Workday Financials Associate Director

Location: Hybrid role based in Dallas, with additional locations in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, and Tampa; work may include local or out-of-state travel to hirify.global offices and client sites.

Salary: $153,000–$260,000 per year, plus a 16% bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead complex Workday Financials implementation engagements and oversee project work plans.
• Guide future-state design and process improvement for Record to Report and Order to Cash functions.
• Develop Workday Financials and Accounting Center implementation plans, including scope, effort, timing, and cost estimates.
• Lead requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Manage client relationships, communicate risks and challenges to executives, and identify opportunities for additional projects.
• Mentor teams, conduct performance evaluations, and coordinate delivery across workstreams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 9+ years of experience in professional services or industry.
• Experience leading or managing Workday Financials implementations, especially for Record to Report or Order to Cash.
• Experience as a solution architect, project manager, or workstream lead on large and complex Workday implementations.
• Strong accounting principles, financial reporting, project leadership, and executive communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Visio and Access is preferred.
