Engineering Technician III (Electrical and Mechanical Testing)

What you will do

• Set up test equipment and products according to established testing procedures.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, environmental, and electromechanical tests on prototypes, existing products, and competitor products.
• Use mechanical, electrical, and electronic measurement devices and accurately document test results.
• Assemble and fabricate test equipment and prototype products according to blueprint specifications and bills of materials.
• Support manufacturing troubleshooting, test documentation, database administration, and preparation of formal and informal test reports.
• Contribute to engineering laboratory audits, continuous improvement activities, and 5S organization programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to perform electrical, mechanical, environmental, and electromechanical testing.
• Ability to interpret and document scientific notation, temperature, pressure, and other measurements.
• Ability to follow testing procedures, blueprint specifications, and bills of materials.
