A&T Technician III (Assembly & Test)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, with work performed in East Aurora, NY on the 3rd shift

Salary: $30.00–$36.00 hourly, plus a 10% 3rd-shift differential

What you will do

• Perform water flow, pressure, leak, electrical, flushing, and cleanliness testing.
• Assemble cables and harnesses, including crimping, soldering, welding, and connector installation.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using portable instruments.
• Operate gauges, transducers, flow meters, force systems, data acquisition systems, mechanical measuring equipment, and torque wrenches.
• Read mechanical drawings and follow controlled documentation while working in shop and laboratory environments.
• Handle electrical, chemical, gas, and cryogenic-fluid processes safely and use required protective equipment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic component or circuit fabrication and repair.
• Knowledge of test-equipment operation, maintenance, and calibration.
• Ability to complete a full physical, including bloodwork, pulmonary function testing, and a fit test.
