Quality Manufacturing Inspector (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, New York, Monday–Friday on the first shift

Salary: $27.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide CMM inspection support for fabricated and machined parts across manufacturing departments.
• Run CMM inspection programs and perform manual inspections on simple to complex parts, components, and assemblies.
• Perform precision inspection and checking operations using surface plates, height gauges, gauge blocks, indicators, and other gauging equipment.
• Interpret complex drawings, operation sheets, verbal instructions, engineering specifications, and military specifications.
• Inspect complex parts with multiple features and support machinists with inspection equipment and quality activities.
• Perform daily machine maintenance, calibration, and probe qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing setting.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a CMM; Zeiss experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply work instructions and training in English.
• Ability to work onsite in East Aurora/Buffalo, New York, on the first shift.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
