What you will do

• Run CMM inspection programs and perform manual inspections for simple to complex parts and assemblies.
• Provide general CMM inspector support for fabricated or machined parts across various shop departments.
• Assist machinists with the use and care of inspection equipment and the interpretation of drawings.
• Perform a wide variety of precision inspection and checking operations using height gauges, gauge blocks, and indicators.
• Execute complicated set-ups on surface plates following engineering and military specifications.
• Perform daily machine maintenance, including calibration and probe qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a CMM, preferably Zeiss.
• Demonstrated expertise in GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.
