Manufacturing Technician 3 (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite cleanroom manufacturing role. Regular schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am.

Salary: $25.80–$33.86 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Perform advanced mechanical assembly of stiffeners, PCBAs, interposers, and related hardware and electrical components.
• Use hand tools, tweezers, dial indicators, digital meters, torque verification equipment, microscopes, and other precision tools.
• Set up electrical testers, analyze probe-card failures, and adjust probe cards to achieve array planarity.
• Inspect components and hardware under a microscope and troubleshoot failures down to the component level.
• Analyze production data, follow SPC processes, and accurately record test results.
• Support shift operations and engineering activities while meeting daily production quotas.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related manufacturing or technical experience.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, circuit analysis, electrical schematics, and materials handling.
• Ability to read detailed mechanical work instructions and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of data acquisition software, metrology equipment, and SPC processes.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom, follow ESD and contamination-control procedures, and wear full cleanroom PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to stand frequently, perform repetitive hand motions, handle delicate components, and lift up to 30 pounds.
