Total Rewards Manager (AI)

Location: Remote, based in Costa Rica

What you will do

• Build compensation models for salary bands, market pricing, geographic differentials, merit budgets, promotions, executive pay, and incentive programs.
• Design and model global equity programs, including refresh plans, grant guidelines, vesting schedules, and budget allocations.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Stock Administration, and Systems Engineering on compensation governance, equity workflows, and program execution.
• Design, test, administer, and roll out Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation workflows, eligibility rules, and merit cycles.
• Develop data integrations, Workday reports, calculated fields, and BigQuery analyses for total rewards insights.
• Lead change management, communications, manager enablement, and training for compensation and equity programs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, equity strategy, or People Analytics at a senior or principal individual-contributor level.
• Experience designing and modeling global compensation and equity programs in a technology or scaling environment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.
• Advanced Excel and Google Suite skills, including VBA/macros, dynamic arrays, and complex formulas.
• Experience with quantitative analysis, regression, distribution metrics, and compensation or equity datasets.
• Must be based in Costa Rica for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Carta, cap table analytics, grant administration alignment, and long-term incentive modeling.
• Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot for analytics, code generation, or reporting.
• BI and BigQuery experience for data modeling.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Certified Compensation Professional certification.
