AI/ML Engineer

What you will do

• Develop discriminative and generative AI/ML models for Department of Defense analytic missions.
• Design, implement, optimize, and support AI/ML models and related services.
• Collaborate with product owners, subject-matter experts, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with objectives.
• Develop web interfaces for exchanging AI/ML information and model-provider metadata.
• Build automated processes that enable workforce access to large language models.
• Contribute to agile team workflows, tools, documentation, and technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML-based systems, model evaluation, and data-driven analysis.
• Knowledge of linear regression, decision trees, random forests, neural networks, and Dijkstra’s algorithm.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, adapt to changing requirements, and learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and customer-facing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Python, C++, or SQL.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Git.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
