Software Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: Doha, Qatar; the requirements also specify availability for a Summer 2027 internship in San Francisco.

What you will do

• Build reinforcement learning, post-training, and other large-hirify.global data pipelines for frontier model development.
• Develop evaluation infrastructure for measuring model reliability and tools for visualizing, querying, and exploring AI data.
• Ship agentic AI applications and tooling that makes them observable, testable, and safe to deploy.
• Create contributor growth, fraud detection, quality estimation, and matching systems for hirify.global’s platform.
• Build efficient UI/UX tooling combined with machine learning algorithms for more than 100,000 contributors.
• Work on product engineering from identifying what to build through shipping and iteration, including full-stack web applications and API integrations.

Requirements

• Graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, EECS, computer engineering, statistics, or a related field.
• Availability for a Summer 2027 internship with a May or June start date in San Francisco.
• Product engineering experience, including full-stack web applications, API and service integrations, customer interaction, and product iteration.
• Previous computer science or software engineering internship experience and a record of shipping high-quality products or features.
• Experience building systems that process large volumes of data.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, model evaluations, or agentic systems through coursework, research, or personal projects.
• Open-source contributions or a portfolio of shipped side projects.
