Principal MRB/Liaison Engineer (Aerospace Structures)

Location: On-site in Kinston, North Carolina, or Wichita, Kansas; 90% on-site. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel independently on short notice.

What you will do

• Perform complex stress calculations for metallic, composite, and hybrid aircraft structures.
• Develop and document engineering analyses for manufacturing non-conformities, airframe repairs, reworks, and aircraft modifications.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and other hirify.global departments to deliver safe and practical structural solutions.
• Check, approve, and pre-approve stress justifications for non-conformities and modifications.
• Maintain technical signature delegation for concessions involving primary and secondary aircraft structures across multiple suffixes.
• Manage workflows, lead projects, meet customer timelines, and mentor other engineers in structural repairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on structural design, analysis, and mechanics of materials.
• 13 years of experience in stress analysis involving airframe structures.
• Experience with metallic and composite airframe design, F&DT, SRM, MRB, FAR/JAR/CS/Part 25, and certification.
• Experience with CATIA, NASTRAN, PATRAN, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, technical documentation, methods, and procedures, together with working knowledge of hirify.global structures.
• Current US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for US positions unless specifically stated.
