Heavy Equipment PM Tech

Location: Roosevelt, Washington, USA; onsite maintenance work

Salary: $32.17 per hour for the union position

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on diesel, gasoline, and electric trucks and heavy equipment.
• Inspect compactors, excavators, wheel loaders, and other vehicles for condition, operation, fluid levels, safety equipment, and tire condition.
• Service fluids, filters, cooling systems, lubrication points, and other mechanical systems.
• Power wash equipment and drive trucks or equipment in and out of the repair area.
• Document work orders, parts usage, applied time, consumables, fuel, and oil usage in maintenance records and fleet management software.
• Follow safety policies and procedures, including applicable OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of technician experience involving OSHA Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, and Fire Protection regulations.
• Mechanical trade school certificate or degree.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and word processing applications.
• Ability to complete the Republic PM Program, One Fleet Republic Way program, and other required training during employment.
• Ability to work onsite in Roosevelt, Washington, USA.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.
