Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Equipment)

What you will do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, repairs, and improvements on automated food-processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Use thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonic technologies to assess equipment condition.
• Dismantle and reassemble complex machinery and operate cutting, welding, and fabrication equipment.
• Create and update work orders in the computerized maintenance management system and document completed work.
• Collaborate with facility departments, train operators and maintenance personnel, and escalate technical or procedural issues when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical degree and at least three years of related production or manufacturing experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours, work at heights, climb ladders or scaffolding above 10 feet, and frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and squat.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and continuously use required personal protective equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be open to off-shift work and a rotating 4x10 schedule.
