Estimated starting salary: $165,010.21–$226,889.04 annually

What you will do
- Direct the technical baseline, design trades, and qualification activities for missile propulsion subsystems.
- Manage propulsion suppliers, interface control documents, and statements of work for propulsion subcontracts.
- Coordinate with aerodynamics, thermal, guidance, navigation and control, and airframe disciplines on propulsion integration.
- Plan and oversee sub-scale, static motor hot-fire, environmental, and range flight test campaigns.
- Lead propulsion technical baseline reviews with customers and support project execution across the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with aerospace propulsion engineering, including design, analysis, integration, and testing of missile propulsion systems.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, requirements management, system design, integration, and multidisciplinary development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required for employment because of the security clearance requirement.
Nice to have
- Experience in project management, cost and schedule management, technical proposals, and project estimation.
- Experience with supersonic or high-speed propulsion integration, inlet and nozzle aerothermodynamics, or solid rocket motor development.
- Experience managing propulsion subcontractors and supplier qualification test programs.
- INCOSE experience or certification, and knowledge of aerospace and defense standards, energetic materials, ordnance safety, and range safety.
