VP/Director, Product – Document Management Platform (AI)

Location: Hybrid; must be within commuting distance of offices in New York City, NY, Baltimore, MD, or Irving, TX, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 annual base salary for New York, NY and Baltimore, MD, plus performance-based compensation.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end experience for an enterprise document management platform.
• Translate business and user needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
• Partner with Engineering to design scalable, reusable capabilities across products, teams, and customer experiences.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, product decisions, delivery, testing, continuous improvement, and platform adoption.
• Identify practical applications of AI, Intelligent Document Processing, and automation to improve accuracy and reduce manual work.
• Lead and develop a Product team member while remaining hands-on in product execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Technical Product Management, Digital Product, or a comparable field.
• Hands-on experience with product roadmaps, requirements, user stories, backlog prioritization, testing, and delivery.
• Experience designing solutions for internal customers and external users across multiple teams or products.
• Strong technology fluency and experience partnering with Engineering on integrations, data, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, strategic thinking, and product judgment skills.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling shared enterprise platforms and driving adoption of common capabilities.
• Experience applying AI, automation, data, or emerging technologies to customer or operational experiences.
• Experience with product modernization, transformation, or migration from legacy systems.
• Experience in a large, complex, or regulated organization.
• Experience leading or developing Product talent while remaining involved in execution.
