Product Manager, Solutions Design (Fintech)

Location: Boston, United States

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 base salary per year plus annual target bonus; ranges listed for Massachusetts and New Jersey.

What you will do

• Lead solution discovery, structured intake, stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, current-state assessments, and evidence-based problem framing.
• Translate findings into solution scenarios, roadmaps, business cases, decision materials, and executive recommendations.
• Shape early-stage application products, including product vision, prototypes, user workflows, MVP scope, backlog inputs, and delivery readiness.
• Facilitate design-thinking sessions, working groups, and decision forums across business, operations, technology, data, risk, compliance, and product functions.
• Bridge approved solutions into execution by defining governance, dependencies, risks, KPIs, benefits, handoffs, and deployment plans.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, deployments, post-deployment learning, benefit tracking, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic solution design, transformation management, product management, business technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience converting ambiguous opportunities into structured solution concepts, MVPs, and executable delivery plans.
• Strong understanding of asset servicing and financial services processes, operating models, and workflows.
• Experience evaluating business, operational, data, technology, and control considerations and developing practical solution options.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts through clear narratives, decision materials, and trade-off analyses.
• Working knowledge of AI, automation, data transformation, low-code/no-code platforms, enterprise systems, and modern product practices.
