Recruiting Consultant (Insurance)

Location: Houston, Texas, USA; travel requirements up to 40% with field work.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate management-level recruiting and support recruitment for sales representatives and managers.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for Colonial Life’s 1099 roles, with a focus on sales management positions.
• Develop territory recruiting strategies using sourcing, referrals, job boards, networking events, and career fairs.
• Conduct phone screens, initial interviews, career attraction events, and joint field recruiting activities.
• Train and coach sales managers on recruiting, candidate attraction, interviewing, licensing, and contracting processes.
• Partner with Territory Sales Managers and National Recruiting to attract and recruit DGA and ADM leaders.

Requirements

• Recruiting and/or sales experience.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort using websites, tracking spreadsheets, Applicant Tracking Systems, and online contracting software.
• Training and coaching experience with hiring managers or 1099 partners in classroom and field settings.
• Self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, and able to work independently with strong time management.
• Ability to travel up to 40% and perform field work.

• Experience sourcing 1099 contractors.
• Experience attracting leadership candidates from inside and outside the insurance industry.
