Manufacturing Operator 4 - Assembly & Test (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States; onsite. Shift FB D runs Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 7:00pm to 7:15am.

What you will do

• Assemble and inspect complex products using detailed work instructions, microscopes, precision tools, and miniature electronic or mechanical components.
• Apply ESD-safe handling practices while maintaining productivity, quality, safety, and production schedule requirements.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections; document defects and support corrective actions.
• Complete approved rework, escalate complex issues, and identify recurring assembly problems for continuous improvement.
• Mentor Manufacturing Operator I employees and support team leads with workflow, materials, tools, and equipment preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform repetitive precision work with minimal supervision.
• Experience reading detailed instructions and working with microscopes, magnification equipment, precision tools, gauges, and basic test equipment.
• Knowledge of ESD practices, quality standards, documentation, safety protocols, and required PPE.
• Ability to stand, sit, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to wear cleanroom attire, including a full coverall suit, hairnet, mask, and gloves, for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics assembly, SMT manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, aerospace assembly, or a similar precision manufacturing environment.
• Basic soldering experience.
• IPC certification.
• Prior experience mentoring or training team members.
