Building Assembler - Equipment Prep (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Gather materials and assemble fabricated metal parts for substation building enclosures according to specifications.
• Review and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, and grinders.
• Perform quality checks, identify product defects, and record and report issues.
• Monitor workstation supplies, tools, and parts while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret written instructions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams.
• Basic math, measurement, and hand-tool skills.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds; PPE is required on the production floor.
