Senior Business Analyst (Power BI)

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $70,696.34–$124,230.14 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement operational KPI reports and dashboards for executive leaders across all institutions.
• Lead the day-to-day delivery of reporting, feature feedback, and dashboard enhancements.
• Provide analytics and reporting support for operational projects across business segments.
• Analyze trends, identify process efficiencies, and recommend improvements to data visualization.
• Present reports and observations to institutional leadership and coordinate feedback with technology and business teams.
• Support analytics project estimation and assist with interviewing, hiring, and training analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in statistics, data science, economics, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of analytics and report development experience supporting enterprise operations.
• 5+ years of business experience in higher education or a similar multi-line service organization.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, statistical analysis, and visual presentation of results.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, communication, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to work from the Chicago office four days per week, Monday–Thursday.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a quantitative or related discipline.
• Operational knowledge of marketing and student or customer service.
