Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI)

Location: Kosice, Slovakia. The role works in the Central European time zone and collaborates with Slovakia-based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.

Salary: €3,600+ gross per month. Base minimum pay: €41,736 annually. Additional performance-related annual cash incentive may apply.

What you will do

• Enable data-driven decision-making for Cat Foresight and Cat Inspect using Snowflake data and application telemetry.
• Analyze recurring data requests and implement automation to reduce manual effort and improve response times.
• Standardize data request intake through clear workflows, prioritization criteria, and governance practices.
• Develop stakeholder-facing Power BI reports and dashboards showing performance trends, insights, and business impact.
• Monitor performance metrics and partner with product teams to identify and address product and user adoption gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Central European and US time zones.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of business data analysis and business assessment.
• Proven experience designing and prototyping dynamic Power BI views and visualizations for large, complex datasets.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and Excel, including experience with data structures.
• Ability to interpret data, communicate insights clearly, and tell compelling stories with data.
• Working knowledge of one or more programming languages and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the Central European time zone and collaborate with Slovakia-based and US-based teams.
